Operations safely resumed after incident Delfzijl site

Teijin Aramid confirms that operations at its Delfzijl site has safely resumed and are stable following the August 6, 2025 incident. The company focuses on operations ramp up in a safe, controlled, and reliable manner. 

The majority of the site is back online and operating securely, and our Emmen spinning facility has remained fully operational throughout. With robust on-site redundancy planning, the company will continue to meet market demand without disruption. Teijin Aramid will continue to deliver the quality, reliability, and service customers can expect. 

All required safety inspections and protocols have been completed, ensuring a secure and responsible restart. Importantly, no injuries occurred and no environmental incidents were reported as a result of the fire. The company is now focused on ramping production up to full capacity.
