Industry recognition for circular aramid innovation

In March 2026 we received the Tire Technology International Materials Innovation of the Year Award for industrialization of Twaron Next®., That gave the recognition for both the material and the partnership that delivered real-world adoption.

In the months preceding, Twaron Next® had already proven itself in a demanding application: Bridgestone's ENLITEN™ tire technology used it to reinforce the Brunel Solar Team's winning vehicle in the 2025 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.

The award panel acknowledged that a circular aramid could meet top-level technical requirements in demanding applications, reducing environmental impact without compromising performance.

What set this recognition apart was the scale. Twaron Next® wasn't reserved for specialty applications. It was being industrialized at scale, integrated into the product systems customers rely on daily. Every tire reinforced with circular or bio-based aramid represented progress toward the circular material flows we're building.
