ISCC PLUS: sustainability certified

Teijin Aramid has achieved ISCC PLUS certification for Twaron® production processes. It enables us to transparently and correctly include these alternative feedstocks with their sustainability characteristics in our products.

The certification matters because it moves sustainability from pledge to proof. ISCC PLUS is a globally recognized certification system that verifies the sustainability and traceability of alternative feedstocks. Our materials made with bio-based inputs now carry third-party verified claims, giving customers transparent assurance that we consistently use certified bio-based materials throughout the value chain. The certification framework uses a mass balance approach, allowing certified and conventional materials to be processed together under controlled conditions. This ensures full traceability while maintaining production flexibility.
