Located in Wuppertal, Germany, the Application Competence Center (ACC) is a state-of-the-art Application & Development facility. By using the research laboratories and testing facilities here, our experts work closely with customers to develop new materials and products, as well as creating solutions for the application areas of ballistics, heat and cut protection, and friction.

The facilities include a helmet press, a shooting range and fabric-testing technology, as well as many other research and development tools. Collectively, these facilities allow the development of cutting-edge aramid solutions that add value to the products of customers worldwide. The ACC has already seen the development of important innovations in the fields of anti-ballistic solutions, protective clothing and friction products.
