From October 19 to 22, 2021, Teijin Aramid will participate at Milipol Paris, the leading event for homeland security and safety, which will take place at the Villepinte Exhibition Center in Paris. In particular, Teijin Aramid will showcase its products Twaron®, Endumax® and Teijinconex®, which enable the development of highly efficient protective equipment for police, justice, border patrol, military and armed forces.
Specifically, our proven materials are used in a range of protective solutions, such as body armor, ballistic helmets, shields and armored vehicles. Twaron®, for instance, is extremely versatile, offering high ballistic protection, low backface deformation, low weight as well as excellent wearing comfort. That makes Teijin’s para-aramid perfectly suited not only for soft ballistic applications, but also for armoring a wide range of vehicles. With Teijinconex®, Teijin Aramid offers an extremely resistant meta-aramid that provides protection against heat, flame and stabbing. It is used in uniforms and operation suits.
At our booth in hall 5a, Teijin Aramid will showcase various protective solutions made from these aramids and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). Visit Teijin Aramid to explore how they can add value to ballistic protective and fire protective equipment.
