What is Twaron Next®?
Our most sustainable para-aramid
Twaron Next® is our new high-performance para-aramid fiber made with circular or bio-based raw materials. It is manufactured using the same polymer and spinning technology as standard Twaron®, ensuring full compatibility with existing specifications.
Twaron Next® is unique in that it delivers the same mechanical performance as standard Twaron®, enabling more responsible material choices without compromising quality.

Twaron Next® with circular content
This fiber is made using reclaimed aramid, introduced through a controlled respinning process. Twaron Next® delivers the same performance as standard Twaron® while having a lower carbon footprint through the use of circular materials. It is best suited for partners exploring closed-loop design and long-term impact reduction.
Twaron Next® with bio-based content
Developed using the ISCC PLUS mass balance approach, this fiber replaces part of the fossil-based feedstock with certified bio-based material. It offers a lower carbon footprint with no need for requalification. As a drop-in alternative, it allows for immediate integration into existing products and processes.
