Technician WTB Emmen

You will take on the challenge of performing complex and large scale preventive and corrective maintenance, expansion, and modification work. You ensure that all activities are carried out in line with the assignment and HSE standards.
As a technician, you provide advice to colleagues and external parties, ensuring that inspections and preventive maintenance are carried out accurately and that malfunctions are resolved effectively. You assess complex or recurring failures and propose effective solutions. In addition, you coordinate and monitor the progress of technically complex projects.
In this role, you will also:
- Be responsible for having mechanical components, tools, and installations manufactured and repaired according to given instructions and drawings.
- Provide input to the Maintenance Engineer when evaluating the preventive maintenance plan, taking into account OEE, QHSE, and total maintenance costs.
- Give technical instructions to technicians, including those from external parties.
- Be willing to participate in on call duties.

Your profile
- You have completed a relevant technical vocational education at MBO level 4.
- You have experience as a Mechanical Technician (WTB).
- You have an affinity for coordinating and reporting on activities, as well as providing technical guidance and advice to colleagues. You possess excellent communication skills.
- You enjoy working independently but also collaborate effectively with others. You have knowledge of how technical installations operate and how they are technically executed.
- You have experience reading technical documentation in both German and English, as well as interpreting technical drawings. In addition, you can communicate clearly and accurately in Dutch.
- You take responsibility, are development oriented, and like to take initiative.
