Technical Coordinator

Then become a Technical Coordinator at Teijin Aramid in Delfzijl.
You are responsible for the daily, functional coordination of technicians within your discipline (E/I and Mechanical). You ensure the safe, efficient and well-organized execution of maintenance activities, acting as the link between the shop floor and the leadership structure.
You work closely with the Team Leader (E/I or Mechanical) and the Execution Coordinator, ensuring that all activities are well prepared, aligned and executed. The focus of this role lies in operational coordination: you maintain oversight, align with stakeholders and safeguard the quality of the work.
Personnel responsibility, performance reviews and development lie with the Team Leader; your task is to ensure optimal execution on the floor. This makes the role clearly practical and coordination focused, with emphasis on safety, planning and quality.
This position is currently scheduled until 31 March 2027.
What will you do?
- Coordinate and distribute work activities on the shop floor
- Ensure safe execution according to applicable procedures
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks
- Monitor progress, quality and capacity deployment
- Ensure correct application of work permits and safety measures
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of maintenance work and shutdowns
- Report progress, issues and improvement points to the Team Leader

Approximately 275 employees work at our Delfzijl site. Here, in four independent chemical plants, we produce the para aramid polymer that forms the basis of our high performance Twaron® fiber. After drying, the polymer is packaged and transported to our large production site in Emmen, where it is spun into Twaron®.
Your profile
As a Technical Coordinator, you have an MBO+/HBO level of working and thinking in a technical field (E/I or Mechanical). In addition, you have:
- Experience in a technical maintenance environment
- Experience coordinating work activities or working as a senior technician
- Good command of Dutch and English
- A practical mindset, decisiveness and strong communication skills
- A high safety awareness and familiarity with procedures and permit-to-work systems
- A team oriented attitude and the ability to connect with other departments within the company
