Executive Assistent COO/CTO

For the Teijin Aramid location in Arnhem, we are currently seeking an Executive Assistant.

You are responsible for:

  • Acting as the first point of contact and right hand for the COO and CTO, managing complex calendars on a day-to-day basis.
  • Organizing and preparing internal and external appointments, (team) meetings, and events, monitoring compliance, and ensuring proper follow-up according to agreements.
  • Maintaining contacts at various levels, both internally and externally.
  • Collaborating with fellow management assistants to ensure an optimally functioning secretariat, working as one team in support of the Management Team.
  • Supporting the department in executing overarching tasks, such as organizing meetings and events, preparing schedules, and drafting project plans.
  • Proactively assisting the executives in organizing and preparing appointments, meetings, and events, both physically and online.
  • Planning and organizing travel arrangements.
  • Preparing materials for meetings and taking minutes.
  • Acting as a backup for teammates during absences or busy periods.

About the department and role

As an Executive Assistant, you ensure clear internal and external communication, and efficient, accurate administrative, organizational, and logistical support. As the main point of contact, go-to person, and organizer, you are able to answer every question and add value to Teijin. You are highly communicative, proactively establish contacts, and are confident in providing critical input. In addition to managing calendars proactively, you enjoy contributing ideas to improve the organization. Juggling multiple tasks? That’s your specialty! 

Your profile

  • Your profile
  • Completed MBO+/HBO education, preferably in a secretarial or administrative field
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Excellent proactive, interpersonal, and independent working skills
  • Experience in a commercial or international environment is a strong plus
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
  • Excellent knowledge of all MS Office programs, preferably also SAP
  • Available for approximately 32 hours per week

Attractive salary – This position falls within CLA scale 6 (€3,501 to €4,588 gross per month), with your salary based on your experience and education.
Almost 10 weeks of vacation per year – Yes, really! Four weeks are legally required, and the remaining six weeks can be taken, cashed out, or saved for later.
