Then join us as an Electrical and Instrumentation Service Technician (5-shift schedule) at Teijin Aramid in Emmen.

Our site offers everything in the field of electrical engineering: drive technology, measurement & control, low voltage, instrumentation and control systems (PCS7/Siemens). You will also have plenty of opportunities for further development.

In this role, you resolve complex and major failures and carry out various maintenance activities on production equipment and installations in the areas of electrical, instrumentation and control engineering. You also ensure a clear handover to your successor or the day shift. You report to the Maintenance Team Lead, and your base location is Emmen.

The role

  • Troubleshoot failures, carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, and perform light mechanical tasks based on incoming notifications in coordination with Production, ensuring processes can resume safely and downtime is kept to a minimum.
  • Identify defects and repair electrical and instrumentation components and installations, both in conventional systems and in systems controlled by PLCs and microprocessors.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including recording time spent and material usage in SAP.
  • Propose improvement ideas and report on the condition of installations.

Your profile

  • You have completed a relevant MBO level 4 E/I education (or equivalent).
  • You have several years of experience within a maintenance organization (preferably including measurement & control technology).
  • You are willing to work in a 5-shift system.
  • You have knowledge of the operation and maintenance of technical installations.
  • You have solid experience with PLCs, frequency inverters, instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • You have strong communication skills, are good at setting priorities and have a solution-oriented mindset.
