Plantmanager Spinning Plant
My name is Mirjam Oldenzeel, and I am responsible for the long-term technological developments, product development and process development of our Spinning Plant in Emmen and I am a member of the local Management Team. An enjoyable, challenging position!
As part of my job, I am also on various sales teams. In this role, I offer my sales colleagues in Arnhem and Wuppertal production support in developing new, improved products, focused on optimal service to the customer.
It is nice to cooperate with other disciplines in this way; you see that everyone is working toward the same goal from his or her own specialty. Cooperation is the key to success for everything. Increasingly focusing on improvement, development and growth. I also have that in me and I believe it is very important in my work. At Teijin Aramid, I can combine the two: work on technological innovations that are important for customers and translate them into our production processes and quality systems.
At Teijin Aramid, I am particularly part of a no-nonsense culture. It makes no difference that I happen to be a woman, even though relatively few women work here in Emmen. I believe that women enhance a company like Teijin Aramid by providing an extra dimension that promotes cooperation.
I am proud of every success we achieve, both large and small. It can be a successful technological development, but I have the very same pride when I see an employee advance through coaching. We can all be ourselves and develop ourselves here, and that is something I like. For me, Teijin Aramid is an excellent company to work for.
