Suppliers

Through sustainable sourcing, we can contribute to lowering the eco-footprint of our products. We are particularly interested in suppliers with whom we can achieve results in the purchasing of sustainable raw materials, energy, transport, packaging and technical materials.

Since the beginning of 2011, our purchasing department has started on a new trajectory for integrating sustainability into our purchasing criteria. An important step in achieving this is the cooperation between our purchasers and our suppliers. Along with sustainable sourcing, our other objectives are cost and risk reduction. We are determined to find the right balance between these various needs and to set the right priorities. We are convinced that, together with our suppliers, we can find better solutions and be more sustainable.

To launch our new sustainability strategy, our most important suppliers of raw, auxiliary and technical materials have signed an agreement based on the guidelines of the UN Global Compact and the International Labor Organization. In this way, they demonstrate the importance of ethical business practices and their commitment to sustainability.
