Technical accountmanager (fulltime)
The marketing and sales organization of Teijin Aramid is divided into eight application areas (ressorts).
Each area has its own team, which is commercial and has a strong technical branch. One of these marketing departments is working in the field of aramid elastomers reinforcement materials for tire applications.
Due to changes in the organization and expansion of our technical activities for tires we are seeking a Technical Account Manager, enterprising and driven, creative & analytic, with technical understanding and customer focus, independent and enterpreneurial.
In this role you will report to the Business Manager.
The function
- Develop knowledge, especially in the area of adhesion to all kinds of rubber;
- Knowledge building and evaluate information from the market (trends, end-use analysis, etc.);
- Promote new developments at customers, always searching for the optimal match between technology and customer needs;
- The contact for customers complaints on a technical level that require further internal investigation;
- Contribution of new ideas on product and market development;
- Supporting the commercial and technical colleagues;
- Collaborate with R & D departments and production;
- Initiate, coordinate and participate in improvement projects and clients' projects.
The profile
- Completed technical college or university degree preferably in rubber compounding and / or yarns;
- Extensive working experience, preferably in a similar position in the tire industry;
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Flexible, customer-and results-oriented focus;
- Sensitivity and persuasiveness;
- Excellent command of English both in speech and writing;
- An enterprising person with a planned way of working;
- Interest in the commercial aspects of a high quality product;
- Accustomed to working in a changing environment;
- Prepare to link global relationships (including technical support and promotion new development).
