Industrial belts
|
Teijin Aramid’s products improve cut resistance, mechanical properties and cord-compound adhesion, which are highly important in industrial belts. These properties improve the overall performance of the belt.

Agricultural belts
|
Teijin Aramid’s products improve flex and tension fatigue properties, which are important for increasing power transmission, particularly in agricultural belts. |
Teijin Aramid’s continuous product development has led to new and improved cord constructions that allow Twaron, Technora, Teijinconex and Sulfron to be used in an increasing number of transmission belt applications. For example, the Twaron Thermal Adhesion (Twaron TA) material has been specially designed to prevent cord tension members from fraying in open-edge V-belts. Twaron TA offers the optimum combination of excellent mechanical properties and improved fraying behavior. What’s more, the use of water dips instead of solvent-based dips makes Twaron TA the material of choice when environmental demands play an important role.
Teijin Aramid’s offers a product range for improved strength members and for compound reinforcement.
