The research organization of Teijin Aramid in Arnhem employs about 150 staff. Research is carried out to improve existing products and processes and to search for new technologies.

For the department of Pulp and Shaping Teijin Aramid is looking for an Intern for the Pulp-Test lab

The department

The activities concern processing Twaron fiber to pulp and the development of new pulp types. Yarns also form the raw material for the design of aramid tape, rods, sheets in various application areas.

The assignment

Different properties of Twaron pulp (refined, fibrillated Twaron fibers) are measured in the Pulp Test lab. The samples are obtained from various experiments and are supplied by different customers. The intern will help in measuring the properties of the various pulp samples, and will carry out own research into improving a measurement method.

Period

The internship is available immediately and has a minimum duration of five months (starting date and duration are however also dependent on the internship period applying within the course).

Internship remuneration

An excellent remuneration dependent on education (on the basis of a 40-hour week).
