Teijin Aramid is a member of a variety of professional organizations. Through them, we share knowledge and experience in order to make a greater contribution to science, sustainability awareness, and business growth.

We are a member of the “Vereniging van de Nederlandse Chemische Industrie” (VNCI, the Dutch Chemistry Society) and we subscribe to their Responsible Care Program. This voluntary program is an initiative of the international chemical industry to enhance collaboration through national associations (such as the VNCI) to improve performance in the areas of health, safety, and the environment.

Teijin Aramid is also affiliated with CIRFS, the European Man-Made Fibers Association. This organization represents European companies that produce man-made, non-biodegradable fibers. Our membership keeps us informed about legislation in this sector, and allows us to exert influence on it.

The Dutch Polymer Institute (DPI) is a collaborative of companies and universities (Public-Private Partnership). This top technological institute concentrates on long-term research into polymers, and produces some 200 publications annually. We contribute our expertise to research programs focused on elastomers, poly-olefins and bio-based/bio-inspired polymers.

The goal of Dujat (the Dutch and Japanese Network Organization) is to strengthen economic relations between the Netherlands and Japan. Dujat assists Dutch companies that want to develop relationships with Japanese companies, or to do business in Japan. Dujat also supports Japanese companies in collaborating with Dutch companies, in both Japan and the Netherlands.
